THE FEAST STORY 

FEAST is based on an idea developed in the United States in 2010, in cities such as Detroit (Detroit Soup), Chicago (Sunday Soup), and Brooklyn (Feast Brooklyn). Globally, there are 91 community organisations in 9 countries, all part of the Soup Network. In total, over 230 projects have been presented in more than 160 dinners.

Amy Kaherl, director of Detroit Soup, has been honored by the White House as Champion of Change for her innovative input in microgranting. So far, Detroit Soup has redistributed over $ 27,000 to creative projects that benefit the local community of Detroit.
